The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
